Sr. Payroll/HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr Payroll/Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This position plays a key role in coordinating HR initiatives and overseeing payroll and benefits administration. Experience with Payroll and Paylocity is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support HR plans and procedures for all personnel

  • Supervise Payroll Specialist and serve as payroll back-up

  • Administer employee benefits through Employee Navigator, including enrollments, changes, and terminations

  • Manage benefit plan communications and open enrollment in partnership with benefit consultants

  • Reconcile monthly insurance invoices

  • Review and verify 1094-C/1095-C annual reporting and authorize filings with the IRS

  • Maintain and update company compensation model

  • Prepare and present HR-related reports to management

  • Provide support in employee relations, recruitment, development, compensation, and compliance reporting (e.g., EEO-1)

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in HR or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred

  • 4-6 years of HR experience, including 2+ years of payroll experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Paylocity and Employee Navigator strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, and applicable federal/state regulations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams
